The STAF®, Self Bored Tube System, has been developed to conform to the STDTM specifications spelled out in the EN ISO 22476-4 Standard for Ménard Pressuremeter Testing, that is the Slotted Tube technique with inside Disintegrating Tool and Mud circulation.

This equipment is particularly recommended to emplace the slotted tube in non-homogeneous or overburden layers.
